I would assume it's 4:00 pm like the franchise tag deadline, but don't know for sure.

Have to believe that after picking up 2 more young edge rushers & 0 (?) linebackers that the plan is to go a bit cheaper overall on the D-line next year (& possibly even the O-line if the kids look like they'll pan out, though doubt that one) to be able to have the cap room to afford Edmunds.

 

Edge rushers on 1st contracts are a lot cheaper than those they'd get via FA.
