... Rodgers' contract contained a $6.8 million roster bonus due in March. It could have been converted into a signing bonus that would have freed up more than $4.5 million in salary-cap space for this season but instead it "vested as scheduled," a source told ESPN at the time. It's listed as an automatic conversion in Rodgers' contract, but even that has to be signed off on by both parties. It's not known if the Packers tried to convert and Rodgers refused to sign off on it, or if they did not attempt a conversion

I'm thinking that if they do trade him, they are going to get hit with a max cap hit. Whereas if they traded him after June 1st, they could spread it out over a couple years.

1) He's 37
2) I don't know... if he went to Marsha's voodoo witch, could be 6-7 years.

Thanks, 37 is a different story then.

Methinks Aaron Rogers may have a bit of a poor attitude. Maybe he'll get lucky and they will offer him the full-time job of hosting Jeopardy?

What do the Raiders and Broncos have to offer?

I don't know but from what I have been reading since this story has broken today, PFT was on top of this story from the get go back at the end of last season.

He'd be pretty scary on the Broncos:

Courtland Sutton

Jerry Jeudy

Noah Fant

Tim Patrick
KJ Hamler

Melvin Gordon
Royce Freeman

Since the end of last season that saw Rodgers win MVP and lead the Packers to the NFC championship game, multiple reports have surfaced that he wants a new deal. Former Green Bay teammate T.J. Lang said in February that Rodgers was "hellbent on some revenge" against the Packers after they drafted Love and that he would "make them pay" in a new deal.

Rodgers is approaching the second year of a four-year, $134 million contract extension that he signed in 2018.
