Bruins, Leafs and Hurricanes?   Panthers executing a Sabres fan revenge tour.

 

They played as well last night as I've ever seen a team play who only had 17 SOG.

They played like a team up 2-0 in a series, not wanting to make the mistake that would cost them. Being they were never behind, they didn't have to veer from that blueprint.

Vegas did absolutely nothing on that major for over 4 minutes - the Stars pretty much carried the play and had the better opportunities.  Ottenger giving up 2 straight softies basically ended that series.  I woulda pulled him after the PP goal because he'd clearly lost his net (he was "rec league goalie" out of position on that one).

 

Vegas has built a very nice team.  Putting Barbashev with Eichel/Marchessault was genius.
