Is it bad that my initial thought that it was probably a disgruntled fan?

My initial thought was "What sort of a name is 'Etobicoke?'"

I'm sure Canadians pronounce it "Etoobeekook-ay," for some weird "We're Canadians" reason.

I missed the first game of the battle of Alberta series. I won’t make the same mistake tonight, which means it will probably be scoreless through 3 overtimes.

Not impressed with the ESPN production on these games. Yes, Mike Smith has been playing great tonight, but do we really need a close up shot of the goaltender’s nose hair while play is live at the opposite end of the ice?

I am beside myself waiting on this.  This is my favorite rivalry of all time that doesn't involve teams I actively cheer for.  It was made that much better by the fact that the Avalanche (my choice in the rivalry) were essentially built because Eric Lindros didn't wanna play in Quebec.  &#%$ the Flyers.

Red Wings (both teams were all time great).

Yzerman is my favorite non-Sabre, by far.

I get that.  They had players I liked but as a bitter Sabres' fan, it annoyed me that their 3rd/4th line each made more than the Sabres entire forward corps.  There was one season when they added Hull, Robitaille, and of course Hasek to an already loaded team.  It was just ridiculously unfair.

I couldn’t get past the ex-Nordique factor, and the “win one for Bourque” season.  And I liked Big Probert, too.
