You Dirty Rat
After winning their first AFC East title in 25 years in 2020, NFL Media’s analytics department already thinks the Bills will follow that up with another good season. NFL.com analytical expert Cynthia Frelund released win-loss projection findings last week and that projection gave the Bills a look at winning 11.1 games next season. That was the second-best number in the AFC. Now the same analytics think the Bills will again have a top-offense in the NFL. According to Frelund, Buffalo will have the fifth-best offense in the league in 2021. Here’s the report: Unlike the Falcons (or Cowboys just below), the Bills’ offensive ranking takes a little dip in win share because of the balance with the defense. I have 11.1 wins projected for Buffalo, so 5.1 for defense and special teams. It’s better to be more complementary like this, which is why I’m high on this team overall. The Bills are playoff-bound in my projections, with the second-highest overall win total in the AFC. https://billswire.usatoday.com/2021/05/21/nfl-analytics-buffalo-bills-offense-fifth-best-2021-josh-allen/
