Damnit, @Ann.

You jinxed it.

I almost tagged it "We are doomed!" but I wanted this place to have a more positive vibe.

I like how the Jets are at 0%

I mean (technically) they could win 10 straight and make the playoffs.

😎

I think if the Jets win one game, heads will be exploding in Florham Park.  They've really set it up to lose 'em all and have no competition for the #1 pick.  We shall see if they succeed in their quest for Trevor Lawrence (and if he is drafted by the Jets, if Lawrence pulls an Eli Manning, John Elway, etc).

  • 3 weeks later...

Don't look now, but we've got some competition in the division. Miami and Tua Tagavagaloa just knocked off the Cardinals to bring them to 5-3.

We face them in week 17. Between now and then they only face two teams with winning records - LV & KC. The season finale could well be for the division title.

The good news is we can at worst tie head to head with them, and they already have 2 division losses vs our 4-0 division record. All we have to do is take care of business against the *Patriots and stay one game ahead of the fish and they can’t catch us even if they win the week 17 matchup and we end up tied in overall record.
