I have a silver one ('15), my wife the green (17),and my son's is maroon ('10). No mechanical problems with any of them. Good luck with yours.

 

Love the Foresters, higher seating than the Outback (easier in and out for my back), really comfortable, tons of visibility, handles great, a dream in the rain and snow, average 28-30 mpg overall. And highest safety ratings.

 

Don't let the haters bother you, you made a great and wise choice. You'll love it for years and years.

Make sure they fix the factory defect that pulls the car into the left lane and engages the engine governor at 60 MPH.

Just got back home with my truck. 
had new brakes put on.
