TakeYouToTasker 2.0
He apparently died on the field several times. There were many individuals involved in saving his life. His teammate, Simon Kjaer gave him CPR until medical staff arrived, referee Anthony Taylor stopped play immediately (highly unusual) and called for the medical team, the medical team themselves who used CPR, chest compressions, and ultimately a defibrillator to resuscitate Eriksen, and the doctors who stabilized him and brought him out of danger. Eriksen is one of the very best attacking midfielders in the world, is only 29 and at the peak of his fitness prowess, is superbly conditioned, and has no prior medical issues. Thank God he survived. Somewhat relevant, the team trainer for Inter Milan, the Italian Serie A side for which Eriksen plays, confirmed on Italian radio that Eriksen received the Pfizer vaccine 12 days ago.
IDBillzFan
There was a lot of noise on social media yesterday about the way the incident was covered on TV. Apparently the cameras kept rolling to the extent teammates had to surround him, so they took the camera to the dude's anguished wife. I have no idea if any of that happened. Just that it filled Twitter, which is like saying I saw it reported on CNN.

Danish and Italian press and the teams are denying that he had Covid or received the vaccine. They say the original tweet was incorrect. Let's see how it plays out. Ann
The guy who scored for Finland and did not celebrate, was very respectful. Apparently, he thought a celebration would be unseemly. Twitter is good for getting an updated message about his health across:
