Bills head coach Sean McDermott and Bills legends Kyle Williams and Doug Flutie will play in the American Century Championship this week.

The tournament begins Tuesday, July 6 and goes until Sunday, July 11. It's hosted by Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course this year in Lake Tahoe, Nevada.

Practice rounds will take place on Wednesday, July 7 and Thursday, July 8 at 11:00 a.m. ET. The first round of the tournament will begin on Friday, July 9 at 1:00 p.m. ET, the second round on Saturday, July 10 at 10:30 a.m. ET and the final round will happen on Sunday, July 11 at 10:30 a.m. ET.

McDermott, Williams and Flutie will play alongside celebrities like Marcus Allen, Jerome Bettis, Charles Barkley, Larry Fitzgerald, Joe Buck, Steph Curry, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Patrick Mahomes, Al Michaels, Aaron Rodgers, Tony Romo and more.

Oh thanks, read that wrong!  I'll be there for the weekend.  If I had a big Bills flag I'd be tempted to rent a boat and come over!

Vinny Del Negro defeats Smoltz in a playoff.  Kyle Williams finishes 10th.

John Smoltz has been a tremendous golfer for years. He, Maddux, and Glavine used to play every day they weren’t starting.

 

Smoltz was apparently good enough that he could have been a professional had he not been a professional baseball player.

Kind of felt bad for Smoltz as he completely choked the playoff hole with a crappy drive, hit a tree then put it in the drink. Del Negro could have three putted and still won. He was very emotional after the win as his father had passed earlier this week. Glad he won and was able to pay tribute to his father.
