Two things:

First, I hope the identify the perpetrators and prosecute them

Second.  Good riddance

Forgive my ignorance up front, but... Anyone know who actually owns them?

No one knows - which added to their mystery over the years.

The best money is on Ted Turner (not a joke).

Thanks. Then there should be nothing to prosecute for, is there? He and Gates certainly seem to fit the bill though....

Had never heard of this structure until today.  Guess that's a ####load of money down the drain.

Anybody claim credit for the bombing yet?

If you'd never heard of them, you're probably unaware that they had an inscription upon them. Ten "messages".

Each pillar had the exact same message, in a different language (8 of them).

The text read:

Maintain humanity under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature.

Guide reproduction wisely--improving fitness and diversity.

Unite humanity with a living new language.

Rule passion--faith--tradition--and all things with tempered reason.

Protect people and nations with fair laws and just courts.

Let all nations rule internally resolving external disputes in a world court.

Avoid petty laws and useless officials.

Balance personal rights with social duties.

Prize truth--beauty--love--seeking harmony with the infinite.

Be not a cancer on the earth--Leave room for nature--Leave room for nature.

Additionally, there is a supposed time capsule buried beneath them. I wonder if that will be excavated...

You can view them more in depth here.

Don't disagree, but I don't really like people.

Serious Nazi shit.

Isn't this what progressives are doing now?  Treating English as a living language, redefining terms like "woman" as idiotically as possible, and uniting humanity against them?

C'mon, who here doesn't agree with this?  I agree with this.  I even agree with having in inscribed on a monument.

If anything, this convinces me that the stones were set up by college junior majoring in "liberal arts" who's destined for a long career in the fast food industry.

Ownership had been transferred to the county some time ago.

I’m upset that it got torn down because it really was a monument to pomposity and hubris.  It was written by some arrogant tool who has it “all figured out, maaaann”, and wants nothing more than to lay it out for us losers. “Guidestones.” Pffffffttt! Stuff. It. Bro.

The smartest thing that asshat ever did was to remain anonymous.

I hope they do open the time capsule and it contains the self-important jerkoff’s name and photo so that we can all hold this specimen up as the prime example of failing to keep one’s yap shut with the unwanted advice.

(To add to your running theories:)

These were dubbed “the American Stonehenge”, which has long been associated with ritual. The American stones go down, and what happens in the UK the very next day?

The idea that there is some mystical causal connection between modern stone obelisks in Georgia and Boris Johnson's government is one of the single most deranged lunatic theories I have ever heard.

Now add adrenochrome and cloning.

... that can’t be good.

I admit, I was wondering how you were trying to tie in time traveling and Lincoln to CTMs request about adrenochrome and cloning…but I see now what you meant.

Edit: He didn’t survive.

Not the US SC but rather the Wisconsin Supreme Court.

Wisconsin Supreme Court outlaws ballot drop boxes for elections

As with Covid's origins, WMD, RussiaGate, et al - the truth always comes out well after the fact, when only the minimum amount of people will pay attention or bother to reassess what they think they know and why. The narrative engineers know that people largely believe what they first hear from a microphone or byline - and moving them off that position is near impossible after a certain amount of time.

Because it's far easier to trick people than convince people that they've been tricked.
