See a lot of players in picture from camp last couple of days of dudes wearing what looks like a version of Kelso’s kazoo helmet, but with individual pods of padding.

anyone in the know on these things?

From @Ann post yesterday.  These are allowed when doing non-padded drills.

Vikings used a version at OTAs.

Wonder why they can’t wear all the time ?

They would probably be uncomfortable to wear to bed, and impractical to wear in the shower.

Kelso wasn't the only one who wore what Mark wore.

Didn't Beebe wear it once or twice aswell?

There was a 49er or two, too.

Forgive the part of me that finds it necessary to correct, but it wasn't a Kazoo helmet. It was a Gazoo helmet.

As in...the Great Gazoo. He actually was able to cross over from The Jetsons to Flintstones.

True story.

That's pretty amazing when you stop to think about it. Pre-history to post-history.

And I'm sure the Great Gazoo was surprised to find out that George Jetson had the same limited intellect of a guy who used a pterodactyl to punch out at work.

Well, to be fair... man did (of course that is a relative statement and open for discussion). It seems that 2016 was the beginning of 'The Fall'. Much like the dystopian literature, 1984 and Brave New World and even Animal Farm, Idiocracy seems to be playing out before our eyes and we could well be entering man's Winter of Discontent.
