It may also be McDermott making a passive-aggressive point about the importance of getting vaccinated a whole lot sooner than Dion did. He really can't afford to have Beasley in the hospital for four days.

Yes, but my point is McDermott would have preferred he (and everyone else) would have been vaccinated sooner. Certainly a few weeks before camp started.
