Thing is, that looks like a sucker bet.  That's such a hell of a line, you wouldn't expect the Bills to cover, and only a sucker would bet on them to do so.

 

And the thing about those sucker bets is...they very often work.

Sportsbooks say Sunday’s showdown between Tom Brady and Bill Belichick is shaping up to be the most heavily bet on NFL game of the regular season.
 

Brady, the six-time Super Bowl champion, returns to Gillette Stadium for the first time as a member of the visiting team, leading his defending champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers against the New England Patriots.
 

And people are falling all over themselves to bet on it.
 

“We expect this game to be the biggest game of the season,” said FanDuel spokesman Kevin Hennessy. “Tom Brady has always been popular with FanDuel customers. The Patriots were always a popular team for betting, and a lot of that has transferred to the Bucs.”
 

FanDuel, which is the official odds provider for The Associated Press, says 95% of bets are on Tampa Bay to cover the 7-point spread. Other sportsbooks report similarly lopsided betting action on Brady and the Bucs, and they expect a cascade of cash in the final hour before kickoff Sunday night.

My day yesterday, betting wise, was predicated on the Texans winning the game. Only taken moneylines has hurt a bit this year...had the Texans ML keyed in 3 bets yesterday.

 

Only good thing is played 27 yesterday, tipped a few on the course, and was peer pressured into a Bills Money Line and Over parley for a decent amount...came out a scooch ahead for the day. 

 

Texans win and it would have been an epic day... but if ya gamble we all have 1000s of those stories!

OKay folks, something fishy tonight. almost 83% of money on Rams tonight. Gunna push a bit tonight on the 9ers moneyline....been pretty careful to not go over 5 % of my bankroll on any 1 bet this year...but tonight feels like a 10% night as i also have a 100% profit boost promo.
