....with $2mm of guaranteed salary.  Not that $2mm is that big a number in the NFL, but it's amazing how teams still can't get away from a guy's draft position even after five years.

First time I saw Lauletta this preseason, I have to admit the dude was impressive.

 

In the last preseason game he was under center, took the snap, backed up to throw, the pocket collapsed and he did a great job rolling out to his left where he found a receiver wide open about 35 yards down field. It was like watching a 12-year-old in the Punt Pass & Kick Competition. He got a running start and threw the ball with everything he had...I mean he LAUNCHED that ball...and it went about 30 yards, where the receiver tried to come back but got clobbered by defenders in the process.

 

That's why I'm not a football scout.
