Augie
First time this year to think of a menu. Went to the opener and our son hosted last week in his new house. Well done! He’ll be in Hawaii on his honeymoon this week instead of the original trip planned for Italy. Leaning towards a simple menu since it will be a small crowd. Probably beef on weck or Sahlens hotdogs to go with some grilled wings. (Don’t have to plan for the vegetarian DIL, so that helps simplify.) It’s got to be easy and done before kickoff. I’m usually more thirsty than hungry on game days. Shocking, I know!!!

Baked wings with Ranch……and I just walk away. There could be no hope at that point! I’m just going with Sahlens dogs and chips. I’ll have my mom here, wife is at son’s new house from 12-3:00 with the AV/internet guy while the son is on his honeymoon. Need internet improved for work from home, hook up sound bars, mount TV’s, install projector, etc. Remember when you just plugged in a couple things? Now it’s an industry. I’ll probably invite the next door neighbors as she is from Tonawanda. They will politely pass, which is good. I can act any way I want in front of my mom, and she can’t hear much of what I say. But it will count as a day away from “God’s waiting room”, as she calls it. Edited September 26, 2021 by Augie

Cinga
Nor sure where else to put this, but someone pondered the thought, what if each branch of the service had a football team and of course My Marine Corps has the perfect fit! 1

Nanker
Hey! They’ve re-named Joint Base Cape Cod as an US Spaceforce Command center. Hope they can shoot down flights to the Vineyard. We might get lucky.

True, that's why the Navy and marine Corps fly birds too. But I spent time on both Kadena and Patrick and can say they certainly have the best chow after our beloved C-Rats!
