I'm highly suspicious of early season surprises like Denver, Oakland and to a lesser extent, Carolina.

Exactly. The Jets played well enough against Carolina in week 1. Their offense was pitiful last week on all fronts. Have to remember though that Belichick has always owned rookie QB's.

The Jets defense isn't terrible. The Broncos are playing without Bradley Chubb. Their first two games were against teams arguably worse than the Jets. I could see a let down game for them.

Four games with the home team favored by 3 or 3 1/2 are all crap shoots.  None of those would be an upset.

I think Pittsburgh and Cleveland are the best bets ATS.

Teddy Bridgewater is built to win winnable games. The problem is going to be when they get down a couple of scores against good teams.

I firmly believe the reason they chose him to be the starter was the first three games on the schedule.  He gave them the best chance of starting 3-0 because he's a lot like Tyrod...just doesn't make killer mistakes.
