4merper4mer
The Texans are far from potent but Brandin Cooks has been more than solid all year. Tre White quietly does it again. If that dude ran his mouth like Jamal Adams or Jalen Ramsey he’d already be a legend. Instead, he’s ranked 95 or whatever in the top 100…..what a joke…..I’d much rather have him than either of those guys and I’m glad we do. 5

And a bogus holding call away from a key INT.

I think it's fair to say that losing Week 1 was probably a great example of 1 step back, 3 steps forward. Everyone came in post-Allen contract hearing "Super Bowl Contender" every time someone mentioned the Bills. Getting kicked in the mouth right out of the gate isn't as bad as it seems, in retrospect.

Like the Arizona game last year, it seems to have been used as a motivator.. They put down the press clippings and are now playing the game.

If last year's Bills redzone team was on the field yesterday, the NFL today would be discussing new mercy rules. 1

I'll be the Debbie downer and echo the team's concerns about how the offense should have done a better job early on. The score was 13-0 midway through 3 Qs, and Bills were only 1-7 on 3rd down conversions. This type of play allowed Steelers to stick around. They absolutely need to start on fire vs KC & Tenn

They absolutely need to start on fire vs KC & Tenn This is true...but I'll be the Ursula Upper in response and say that the weather played a role in that. The rain, early on, was pretty atrocious. No one was playing particularly well in that. And the way the defense has been playing so far this season, even though it's been against some terminally putrid offenses, has me hopeful as well. Don't necessarily need to jump out to an early lead with a defense that's keeping them in it. Although I certainly have no issue with overkill, either.
GG1
We didn't discuss Cody's benching yet, and I'm sure it will come up in @Virgil and @Shaw66 recaps. Ford had a brutal game vs 'skins. The right side was a bit better this week, but let's see how they fare against a better DL next week. Cody's lackluster play makes losing Anderson that much worse.
