I-90 was almost under water. Cayuga Lake is at least 2' above flood stage. Never seen it so high. There's a creek near our house that normally tops out ~12' under the bridge for the road that crosses it. Last weekend that was within 18" of the bridge. In our area this was the wettest summer on record & the fall hasn't let up at all. 1

Seems like unless the banks are steep, the water might be flooding everything insight.

That was standing in 2' of water. The farmer's field nearby was a good foot underwater. Fortunately, the terrain beyond the farmer's field slopes up a good 2'-4' above that. Didn't head further down creek to where it meets the Erie Canal, but that area often floods. It must have been close to breaching the road there that day. And those heights are all eyeballed, but pretty sure they're close to accurate. Had only seen the creek close to that high once & that was after we got a 2'-3' snowstorm in late March & that all melted off quickly as the weather warmed significantly shortly after that.

Issues both with mud and wetness of the grass. I have family on mom's side that have a cottage on Cayuga Lake. I'll most likely give them a call over this weekend to see if they need anything. Yeah, it's been flat out ridiculous this year.

Erie PA is about 8 feet above LWD in the same time frame. Winds at Erie are about 33mph sustained. On the Buffalo waterfront, about 45 (with a peak gust near 70.) I talked to my Dad who said trees and power lines have been coming down all over the city. He's without power right now, which is not good for somebody on oxygen
