Lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng overdue (can the Lions do ANYTHING right?).  As good a player as he was,  he's a better human being. 

 

I remember being just flabbergasted when we got him.   His first game,  in prime time against the Giants, he had 20+ tackles and a critical fumble recovery.  

 

Heart and soul guy.   Leaving the game to tend to his dying wife was all anybody ever needed to know about what kind of man he is.
