Official ‘Other Games’ Thread - Week - 8

This weeks slate of games kicks off tonight with Green Bay @ Arizona. Both teams are out to great starts on the season with Arizona being the only undefeated and GB having suffered only one loss. Should be a good game.

 

Arizona will be without their high priced off-season acquisition, J.J. Watt. He is having surgery that will sideline him for the rest of the season. The recovery from which is 3 to 6 months. There is a chance he recovers in time for the Super Bowl, should the Cardinals make it that far. 

 

Green Bay is likewise undermanned tonight. They will be without WR's Devonte Adams and Allen Lazard, who have both acquired COVID.

And Lazard is out as well. Primary reason I took AZ -5 1/2 in my pick'em pool.

 

So far it looks like I need to rely on the Packer receivers to keep dropping passes.

Is that who that hoofer is?  I've always found her tolerable - at best - in SNL skits, but Jesus, she's so &#%$ing annoying in those Verizon ads that I didn't even recognize her.
