Thanksgiving Game Memories

There have been several memorable Thanksgiving game moments, Bills and non-Bills, over the years.  what's everyones favorites?

 

Bills related, for me is 2019 against the Cowboys.  I spent that holiday in the company of a cousin who is a Browns fan.  He was quite enjoying the first quarter or so of the Cowboys controlling the game.  I remember him commenting early in the game about how that Josh Allen kid just doesn't seem to have it.    That game, to me, was when Allen turned the page from project QB en route to becoming an elite QB

 

Non Bills related.  Butt fumble of course.  Mark Sanchez will always live in infamy.  As will Leon Lett

Posted this in the Thanksgiving thread as well but this is by far the best memory I have of Thanksgiving games. Hopefully there will be another one to file away in the favorite banks tonight.

Lions are going to petition next year to play Thanksgiving on the road.

My noggin' isn't good at retaining things, but I still remember the Bills playing the Lions on Thanksgiving in 1994. 

 

Lions second play of the game; flea flicker, and David Kreig tosses a bomb to take the lead. It sucked from that moment on.

Glad to hear it. I was afraid that was going to be the kind of thing that portrayed blacks in a negative light.

That game was a couple of days before my wedding.  Watched the game at the inlaws, my side of the family downstairs (along w/ 1 of the wife's b-i-ls, rest of fiancee's family upstairs. My side were all agreeing that since it would be wrong to hope terrorists would win that hopefully at least neither would the Fish.  Soon to be inlaws disliked the Pokes too much to want them to win/& or not lose.

 

When the FG was blocked, the entire basement erupted & moans were heard from upstairs.  3 seconds later after that idiot Lett proved once again he doesn't know the rules, the situation was reversed except it was curses emanating from downstairs.
