Taro T
They should resurrect a classic: The Washington Bullets. Their unis are already dried blood & pus colored, so they've got that part of the branding covered.

They could wear little black ‘1/6’ decals on their helmets and have a moment of silence before each game to commemorate the day Democracy was destroyed. Their mascot could be a dipshit in a fur vest and buffalo horns.

Foxx
Lets see... the Nationals, Capitals, Wizards are names of the three other major sports teams. The Wizards really are outside of what the team name should be unless you are a conspiracy theorist. Lets go with the 'Lobbyists'. Since they already rule Washington, might as well pay tribute to them. 2

Keukasmallie
Could always call the team the Washington Congress since they're a group of powerful men who most certainly value wins, and personal exposure [think of A. Rodgers, as C. Schumer] above all else; even to the detriment of their opponents. They play a regular schedule of games and compete for the same things over and over. In the final analysis, the outcomes don't truly have any real impact on the welfare of the world around us. Yeah, that's it, call them the Washington Congress. Who's their mascot going to be, Grace Hopper?

He was staring down the barrel of an NFL colonoscopy over the internal workings/sexual harassment by the NFL as well. I'm pretty sure he was backed into a corner with no escape.

Between the NFL investigating the organization for workplace harassment and his corporate sponsors threatening to pull their funds, Snyder probably didn't have anywhere to go. I would like to see the name Redskins to return since the organization has a long and proud tradition, though I also want Snyder to squirm. It's a shame that many of today's owners aren't nearly the type of people that the founding owners were.
