Talks about trade scenarios, with key being the need to trade (not cut Murphy) to help with the cap. Murphy's contract is more friendly for the new team.  Even talked about possibility to trade Bam Johnson or Ryan Bates for immediate help.

DT - Tomlinson, Rankins, Tyeler Davidson, bringing V Taylor back (definitely were hoping to sneak him to PS)

CB - Brian Poole, Desmond King, Corn Elder, CB Josh Jackson (Packers), CB Ahkello Witherspoon (49ers) or CB Fabian Moreau (Washington)

LB - Reddick, Thomas Davis, 

TE - Engram, Everrett, Njoku (perennial target)

DE - Ingram, Kerrigan, Dunlap

I would imagine contracts on Dunlap and Atkins would make those two less likely. Griffin and Davis may be options what you guys think ?

All seem a bit long in the tooth. Who is still the most productive? I would guess Griffin but you tell me.

Any of the bottom 3 would be a nice addition to the rotation, but I'd rather get a big fat guy to clog up the middle. Not sure who might fit the bill.

From what I know I would tend to agree RH. I know those guys are/were talented but they've definitely seen better days and we already have our old men D'ends. 

I want a younger big man to clog up the middle and shut down the run

I don't know if any of these players would help or what the cost would be but I'm sure that Beane & McD are looking to improve the roster anyway they can.

Guessing that anything you see in the NFC east is up for grabs prior to the trade deadline. The question is the value/worth.

I have not watched much of the Cowboys, but think that he has not been impactful at all is why he is traded.

I figure that if Yannick only went for a conditional 3rd, Griffen's value is definitely worth 6th round - 10 tackles, 2.5 sacks for an awful defense, playing about 20% of the snaps.  Compared to Murphy - 1.5 sacks - 12 tackles in a bigger role.

 

On a related note, looks like 'Pokes are releasing Dontari Poe & Darryl Worley if they can't swing a trade.
