I just don't understand why the college rules can't be adapted.  They're really good and it's entertaining AF.  The only tweak I'd make is having the drives start at midfield.

…or their own 25.  I’d like it to look like the rest of the game as much as possible.

I think all in all, this is one place in officiating where discretion has a place. the application thereof has to be somewhat uniform though. This is sports after all and a certain amount of bravado should be able to go along with the territory.

 

Agreed, Allen should have gotten a penalty there.
