The reality of the history of every government pretty much ever is evidence that you are wrong.

 

Governments are created by the powerful to protect their interests from the weak. This is true of the Constitutional government of the United States as well.

 

The US government was created to pillage the wealth of the common man in order to settle the private debts of the wealthiest land owners in the United States.

 

Our current system is an extension of this.

 

The Constitution was either chartered to intentionally permit exactly the situation we see ourselves in today, or it was woefully unable to prevent it.
