From what I'm seeing from the talking heads this morning, it seems like Buffalo can still move up into the top half of round 2 without sacrificing their 3rd round pick (57, a 4th, and a '23 mid round pick would get it done they say).

Hopefully there's a run on QBs early, driving the Hall, Walker, Moore types down the board enough for Buffalo to make a move.

Deranged Rhino

Stuck in LA traffic and listening to some pre-Day-2 gossip.

Talking heads seem to think the only RB going in round 2 is Hall - and they expect him to go early, with maybe Walker sliding in late. Consensus seems to be that round 3 is going to be the run on RBs...

I'd be thrilled with Hall, Walker, or Austin, Moore or a LB. Spiller I don't know as much about because I was allergic to the last name - but people seem to like him.

Whaaaaat?  CJ Spiller isn't your #1 runningback? :classic_dry:

I would be absolutely stunned if we picked Walker - he's not our kinda guy.  I can see Spiller but I think he's there at 89.

I feel the same. A one year guy, who's a one cut kind of back (from what I've seen anyway). I admit though I got enamored with Hall's tape and what he might bring, but it could just be the result of the RB class being thin more than him being legit.

I didn't do a lot of work on Austin or Moore either - any thoughts on those guys as Crowder replacements in 23?

Moore probably "should" be gone by 57 but he could be in play.  Austin is an interesting guy because he's got a ton of speed and good lower body power but he's a smurf, so I don't know the interest level based on that.  We probably have to trade back into the 4th to have a shot at him.

Texans are one of the teams I'm most worried about snaking a RB before the Bills can get there, so yes please.

They have shown an interest in Hall.
