And how many of them have Evander Kane and Robin Lehner jerseys hanging in their closets too?

 

Its not so much about past decisions clouding someone’s judgement as it is there he timing like taro suggested. They’re just not at the stage where they are looking for one piece to put them over the top. We’d have a very different goalie situation if that was the case.

Like anything else, it just depends on assets going the other way.  He's young so he fits where the Sabres are but there are obviously big contracts (Dahlin specifically) that are on the horizon.

 

I'm waiting for someone worth something to have number 9 so I can change the nameplate on my sweet 50th jersey.

If they move him they’d have to be going for young and cost controlled for a few years. I can’t see this team being at a point where they’d want to move multiple pieces fitting that label. Not yet anyway. 
 

I also have no idea what the hang up is with Dallas. I can’t imagine they’d want to move him at all. Are Seguin and Benn really big enough anchors that they can’t pay their top young forward?

My Eichel is what it is. I can’t put a guy on a jersey if he never wore it.
