The seas parted giving him the opportunity; jockey did a nice job hitting that hole at 3/4 mile and then making a quick cut around a fast fading Messier before the final sprint. Even the track announcer didn't see him coming until the last second. There used to be one or two knowledge horse posters ATOP, and some good pre-Triple Crown chat.
