Amerks Playoff Run

As @Alaska Darin said in the Sabres off-season thread, the Amerks move on to the Division Finals against Laval starting Sunday.

 

All games in Laval are 7 PM & in Ra-cha-cha are 7:05 PM.

 

In Laval:

Sunday &

Monday.

 

In Ra-cha-cha

Wednesday & if necessary

Friday

 

In Laval if necessary

The following Sunday.

Dell is scary but the rest are playing well.

 

Maybe Samuelsson &/or Mersch (the captain) will be back this round.  Either would give a boost.

1 period left to try to come back from a 2-0 deficit to keep from facing a series 2-0 deficit.

 

They just can't beat Primeau and at their end they have Dell.

Couldn't mount the comeback, but they did at least hold Primeau to a Ryan Miller Shut Out rather than a real one.

 

Final was 3-1.

 

Amerks need to win at home Wednesday to stay alive.

Peterka added 1 from Laaksonen & Murray on the Amerks 1st PP.  Up 2-0 at the 1st intermission.

 

But they're giving up WAAAAY too many shots.  Outshot 12-6 for the period.  If they don't clean up their own end, this'll turn.  Dell can't be counted on for 36 or so saves.

Yep.  3rd & 4th goals weren't on Dell, but by then the Rocket could smell the blood in the water.  He's not good enough to have stolen the 1st 2 goals given up that period.  That was what they needed, but he's not the guy to give it to them.  (Another game that if the goalies were swapped, the outcome likely gets swapped as well.  Hoping Adams is paying attention.)
