4merper4mer
I see tiers and I started to fill in enough teams where I said why not put all 32 in one tier or another. I’ll go E-N-S-W, NFC first. True contenders to WIN the Super Bowl Tampa, Rams,Bills, Bengals, Chiefs Fringe contenders Cowboys - talent but horrendous coaching Eagles - A lot must break correctly Packers - Too much water under too many bridges Minny - Probably a tall order for Cousins but a real roster there Niners - Rookie QB is a big ? Colts - If Ryan works out perfectly Chargers - If the coach stops being estupido Uber fringe good teams I just can’t see running the table against all of the above Cardinals - Under perfect conditions a decent playoff seeding Titans - Same old same old and Henry isn’t getting younger Raiders Denver Chance at playoffs, nothing more Giants Commanders razor thin path Lions - That’s right I said it Saints Panthers probably not Pats, Fish and even Jets Steelers Ravens - I just don’t see more here. They were lucky to win several games last year even with Lamar Glimmers of hope in there somewhere Bears Jags Texans Horrible Falcons Seahawks No idea Browns

Could've been the OSU running back bowl had Rypien not sold his soul that year.

Ok, I cannot believe the Lions ever made the playoffs. Last time they were in was 2016. Last time they won a playoff game was 1991. And the last time before that they won a playoff game was 1957. Which might be an NFL record for playoff futility. Since 1957, they have 12 playoff appearances, and are 1-12 in that time. In comparison, the Jaguars are 7-7 since they were founded in 1995.

RedAlice
This has been a fun read. Apparently, no one here believes in the Rams. That is fine. You are the AFC. I am being told ad nauseam that the Chargers w Herbert are some god send to a hungry fan base. So, I have a different question. Who do the Bills play in the AFCG?

The Rams are certainly on every serious person's list. They've got a loaded roster, a good coach, and a QB who's capable of winning when things go sideways. There's a very good chance that the opening game this season is a super bowl preview. As for who the Bills will play in the AFCG - my money remains on the Chiefs, with the Chargers or Bengals as my dark horses. Difference will be that this year the championship game will be in Buffalo, not KC, just based on how likely it is that the AFCW teams will chew one another up in the regular season.
