Congrats to Coach Freeman on his first win, but man, he and his team have a long way to go.

It was clear from his first throw that Hartman is the best QB Notre Dame has had in a long time. A couple throws in the second half might have been picks against a better team, but that’s nitpicking.

 

Solid performance all around yesterday. If they play like that, 9 wins are as good as locked.

 

But they also face 3 top-10 opponents (OSU, USC, Clemson) so those will be the real tests.

Another good game for the Irish.

 

Hope that they can keep it up against the stronger opponents.

Also helps to have all 11 defenders on the field for one, if not both, plays with under 10 seconds left

Sam Hartman pulled that game out of the fire for ND Josh Allen style. Not terribly impressed with the offensive game plan.

I think it was mostly the hangover after snatching defeat from the jaws of victory last week.  I'll take the W - we made plays when the game was on the line, unlike LSU ( ).

Tonight was a mess.  Idiotic timeout late in the half nearly gifted Louisville 3 points. Love was clearly the most effective RB but only got 5 carries. Instead they kept trying slow developing runs with Estime against an aggressive front. They couldn’t protect the QB and never adjusted the play calling to offset that.  OC should be fired.

 

Defense played pretty well for 3 quarters before they ran out of gas.

 

They seem to be getting out game planned and out coached every week.
