KD in CA
She'll need a new one with USC/UCLA. Rutgers remains the most absurd inclusion in a big conference ever. Who's next, UCONN?

Who's next, UCONN? Rutgers had a good run in the mid 2000s that they rode into a Power Five conference invite. Their inclusion in the B1G is no less absurd than Vanderbilt in the SEC

Rutgers was recruited to increase Big 10 appeal to the NYC market, where no one cares about Rutgers. 1

As a Penn St fanboy I have grown accustomed to playing Ohio St, Michigan, and Michigan St every year.

As a Penn State alum, I always thought it was unfair that Penn State had to play Ohio State and Michigan each year, while teams playing in the west had the weaker schedules. So, let's see how this plays out.

Any rivalry game that doesn’t generate top ratings has become collateral damage on the path to making college ball a AAA version of the NFL (but with baseball economics).
