Some AFC notes:

After last weeks games, the Bills have once again gained the #1 seed for the AFC Playoffs! KC is #2, Ravens #3, Titans #4, Bengals #5, Dolphins #6 and the Jets #7. On the outside looking in are the #8 *Patriots, #9 Chargers and #10 Raiders. The Bills, +124 in point differential, are still #1 in the AFC, but after Dallas' shellacking of the Colts on SNF last week, they are now #2 overall.

Random Playoff Notes:

The Chiefs can win their seventh straight AFCW crown if they beat the Broncos and the Chargers lose to the Dolphins (boo). Over in the NFC, for the second week in a row, the Vikings have a chance to win the NFCN. They can do so with a win or a tie against the Lions this weekend. The Eagles can also secure a playoff spot by beating the Giants. If they happen to lose, they can still grab a spot if the 49ers and Seahawks both lose.

Buffalo, KC, Miami and Cincy all could come out of this weekend with the AFC #1 seed.

If the Jets, currently in the 7th playoff position, lose and either the *Patriots or the Chargers win, New York would fall out of a playoff spot.

ESPN's Playoff Machine is up and running. Have fun!

I don't want to look too far ahead (the Bills have a lot of business to attend to before then) but that trip to Cincinnati in week 17 might be for the #1 seed.

That would be great!

Jet fan heads exploding.

The Bengals might just have the toughest remaining schedule after this week. Though, they have never beaten the Browns with Burrow at the controls, that may include this week's game as well.

Yeah, but they're on a roll and looking pretty good right now.

And, even if they don't get the #1, we can't trip up because KC is always there.

I would not be surprised if the Bengals had a big letdown after last week but Watson needs to play measurably better than he did last week.  I was really surprised at how bad he was - he was missing even on easy throws to wide open and stationary targets.

Even with a Cincy letdown, Cleveland's defense gives up a lot of points.

🤞 for a miracle for broncos beat chiefs. Probably had too much egg nog.

Best we might be able to hope is that Patty looks like crap and stumbles in the MVP race. That’s possible. The broncos winning seems unlikely. I imagine Spags is gonna let Russ cook himself into a nice tender jerky.
