Game suspended in 1st quarter due to the life threatening injury to Damar Hamlin.

The commentary of the Aftermath actually begins in the Game Day Thread, here.

If you're so inclined, please offer up some intentions for the 24 yr old young man.

They probably don't know much more than we do.  They difference is, they're responsible, and want to make an informed decision.

It's a lot easier as spectators to say "This is what they should do."  When it's you ass in the big chair, no matter how obvious it is, it's still harder to make that call on the spot.

That's why goodell gets paid 50 million to make the tough calls

He also doesn't get paid $50 million to pull uninformed decisions out of his ass.

Again, when it's your ass in the big chair, it's a much different dynamic.  Anyone who doesn't understand has never had their ass in the big chair.

And he has to think about everything involved.  The NFL has a tight schedule for everything - there's not much room at this juncture of the season to do anything at all.

Intubated as well.

Which means he's not breathing on his own, which was already reported, I think.

I imagine anyone intubated after an accident (as opposed to major surgery) is automatically considered in critical condition.

Bills Radio said the NFL wanted them to continue. NFL Players association said no!

You know it's a tragedy when I say: good job, NFLPA!

Know ESPN is trying their best in a really difficult situation.  But showing the Bills players reactions from an hour ago when they 1st saw what was happening and the anguish on their faces was just wrong.  MHO.  YMMV.
