You know it's a tragedy when I say: good job, NFLPA!

More likely McDermott told them to piss off.

pretty sure he called bullshit on the 5 minute warmup, as well

I think both coaches were on the same page with that sentiment.

Know ESPN is trying their best in a really difficult situation.  But showing the Bills players reactions from an hour ago when they 1st saw what was happening and the anguish on their faces was just wrong.  MHO.  YMMV.

They showed the Theismann injury like 4589057338755097349073 times that night.  I was disgusted.  Friggin' media people are just the dregs of humanity.

ESPN now milking the video coverage of sorrow

In fairness to them...it's the biggest story in the country right now.  There's not really much else they can do.

I thought ESPN has been rather somber, contemplative, and respectful this evening.

Really puts this stuff in perspective.

Praying that this young man both survives & has a speedy and full recovery.

I will say, that this has outed everyone involved as Christian.

I don’t ever remember seeing so much public prayer on television. So much genuine unapologetic expression of Christian love.

It’s been quite an outpouring on twitter from across the sports world and beyond.  If there is value in the positive wishes of humanity, Hamlin has that going for him.

Dear God,
Dispel my fear. End my anxiety. Wipe worry from my mind. May the one I care about find good health and complete recovery. Make known the healing power of Your hands. Give comfort and shelter beneath Your wings. Grant restorative sleep tonight and safe passage to tomorrow.
Amen.

In circumstances like these, there are very few words that are appropriate. All we can do at this point is wait and hope. And pray.

Unbelievably horrible. Offer prayers/best wishes. And hug your loved ones every chance you get, because you just never know when what should be an ordinary day may take a horrific turn.

Jus commented to my wife: suddenly EVERYONE is open to praying in public.

It's a good start.

Thanks to you for prompting the prayers! We use the term, "All we can do is pray". That is so much more than people realize.

Crap Throwing Clavin

Domenik Hixon was a complete mess after Everett hit him.

So...thoughts to Tee Higgins, as well.  Not easy thinking you're "the guy" that did this.
