This is my honest opinion here.  He has covid.  Doesn't feel well and his throat/voice might be sore and raspy.  He is at an advanced age and might need more time than a more vigorous and healthy person to be strong enough to speak publicly.

  So why not have the muppet aka Karrine whatever her name is read a statement and have Joe and Dr Jill in the same room?  This is not blowing off a diplomatic delegation from Liechtenstein. This is altering the trajectory of the 2024 POTUS race.

Remember, this is not a Presidential act.  Doesn't have to be written on official letterhead to be official.  Hell, he's dropping out of the campaign, not resigning the presidency...so it shouldn't have the White House letterhead, since it's a campaign statement rather than official Presidential act.

  Yes, it could be written on a napkin but what campaign does not spend on stationary for itself?  Biden-Harris 2024 for example.  Just another thing to call the overall effort into question.
