2024 College Football Season

Good start for the Irish. Season will come down to how quickly the green OL can improve.  They were able to do just enough against a tough defense.

Leonard looked good at QB despite being under pressured all night.

Crap Throwing Clavin

I don't think I've seen any defensive back at any level read a play so well...

Nice game by USC. Brian Kelly starts 0-1 for the third straight year.

Like LSU.  Can't stand Kelly.  At some point they'll realize what a mistake it was hiring him.  Hoping it doesn't do too much damage to the program in the mean time.

That was very un-Manning like.  It don't think Eli ran for 67 yards his entire career.

2 yards shy of Eli's single season best (2007)

Peyton was a little more nimble in his youth, with 3 seasons over 100 yards.

But in his final four years in Denver, he tallied a total of negative 55 yards

Helluva ending to Baylor at Colorado

Saw it, I was rooting for Baylor because I'm not a Sanders fan. It's rare for me to watch college ball with all the strange rules.

"Strange Rules"

You mean like no "Landing Zone" or "Declared" Onside kicks?

And I was rooting for Baylor too.  Not out of any particular affinity or disdain for either program or anyone affiliated.  But when I turned the game on, I was like...Baylor vs Colorado, meh.  I guess I'll root for the Red State team

That was wild. Baylor DC ran the worst prevent defense since Greggo was with the Jets.

I’m sure some QB who piles up stats against overmatched opponents will win Heisman, but Travis Hunter is the best player in college football.

Yes, they are certainly seeing the fruits of their labor pay off, which was evident against the Bearcats on Saturday night in front of another sold-out crowd at Folsom Field. Now, sitting at 6-2 on the season, the Buffaloes are eligible for a bowl game, and still in the running for a Big 12 title game appearance
