Happy Thanksgiving

Dinner was definitely different. My cousin and his family came over (2 children!) and we had a great time. I have never done anything with just him (his family) and me (and hubby) as I am quite a bit older than he is, but this was terrific.  No police officers knocked on our door (too bad as my cousin is a cop), and a good time was had by all.

My son was supposed to come over but his fiancée is working the covid floor at the local hospital so he didn't want to chance infecting anyone (my cousin had twice tested to have the antibodies so I think they are set, I think my son meant me and hubby), and my mother went nuts about covid after my aunt and uncle were diagnosed as having it, so she bailed, too.

I will say that children are exhausting (they are 7 and 9) and my son better get movin' on gettin' me some grandkids. 🙂

Grandkids are great. If I knew how much fun they are, I would have had them first.
