You Dirty Rat
Broadcasting rights do not allow any local television station in Rochester to buy the rights to the game. The NFL rules are very strict on that, stating only "primary" markets can buy the rights to broadcast NFL games. Since Rochester is considered a secondary market to Buffalo, we are not permitted to buy the rights to broadcast the game. https://13wham.com/buffalo-plus/bills-latest-news/why-rochester-will-not-be-able-to-show-saturdays-bills-broncos-game
Chandemonium
It doesn’t really affect me anymore since I moved out of the area, but when I lived in Rochester back in the days of blackouts for home games that didn’t sell out it used to drive me nuts that Rochester was subject to blackouts, but still couldn’t get a local station to broadcast cable only games. Lived in 2 cities that had that issue Ra-cha-cha for Bills games and Red Stick for Saints games. Both cities within the old blackout zones & both only "2ndary markets." Nanker
NFL Network has the rights to the Saturday games tomorrow. If you have that through your cable provider or through the Intarwebs, youse can see da game.
