I think this is a good spot for this article from The Athletic. Sorry it's behind a paywall.

"This is going to work": How Stefon Diggs, Josh Allen Became The Perfect Pair

Quote

Davis Webb still has the image fresh in his mind. The Bills’ offense had gathered in South Florida for player-organized workouts in late May. After months of seeing each other only on Zoom, teammates finally got to meet up in person.

It was also the first time many of them met new wide receiver Stefon Diggs face-to-face after the Bills had traded for him in March. There was both excitement and nervous anticipation. How would Diggs fit in? What would that type of talent look like in the Bills’ offense? How long would it take for Diggs and Josh Allen to click?

Webb had spent more time video-conferencing with Diggs than most. From March until August, Webb and Diggs video-chatted three days a week so that Webb could teach Diggs the ins and outs of the Bills’ playbook. Webb described meeting Diggs at those workouts like “meeting a pen pal.” Diggs has admitted to feeling nerves that day. He didn’t talk to too many people right away, but 20 minutes into the workout, he was becoming one of the guys. More importantly, he and Allen looked like they’d known each other for years.

“Stef got out of the car and they hit it off right away,” Webb said. “They didn’t miss a pass that first day. And that’s when you kind of knew.”

That day, Webb sent a simple text to Brian Daboll.

“This is going to work,” he told him.

Sounds like David Webb is destined to be a coach.

Agreed.  Another solid article from The Athletic.

Favorite quote:  “We have a loose group on offense,” Barkley said. “I’ve been with teams where that has worked and other teams where it gets out of control because of a lack of leadership. But because of Josh and the older guys on this team and guys like Stef, the leadership aspect is still there. The cool part is they can be loose, they can have fun, they can do those stupid dances they’re doing. They’re not dancing on logos!

Gonna be some bad blood this weekend in Pittsburgh.

The offensive staff has been effusive about Davis's contribution off the field.  Would be great if they can continue stashing him on the PS as the defacto asst QB coach
