Buffalo Bills #2 -Previous rank: No. 4

When you haven't won a division title since "Wonderwall" was on the charts, you don't go in through the back door. The Bills announced themselves as AFC East champions with authority, bludgeoning the Broncos in a 48-19 coronation at Mile High. Josh Allen accounted for four more touchdowns in his latest superstar-level performance, while the rising Buffalo defense continued its December surge. Buffalo piled up 534 yards of total offense, led by playmaking wideouts Stefon Diggs and Cole Beasley, who will soon become the first Bills receivers to go over 1,000 yards in the same season since Peerless Price and Eric Moulds back in 2002. The Bills are a rising tidal wave headed for the great wall that is the Kansas City Chiefs.

It's very satisfying to see teams like the *Patriots, Steelers, and Cowboys falling down. Their history is in the past. The Bills are going to make history in the future.

Barring anything crazy (hey, 2020 will be over, there is hope), I think this is the AFC's year. We shall see, however.

Just bumping this up to post the note below from the final NFL.com Power Rankings.

Quote

The Bills are a rampaging wrecking crew right now. Josh Allen threw three more touchdown passes in a two-quarter cameo, and Isaiah McKenzie went off for three touchdowns of his own in a 56-26 destruction of the Dolphins in Orchard Park. Those 56 points are the second-most in a game in franchise history. We're no longer surprised when Buffalo dominates an opponent, but this was a Miami team that entered Sunday with a chance to advance to the postseason. For the Bills to crush an opponent that had that much to play for tells you something about them: These are bad men with ill intentions on the field. They are scared of no team, including the defending champions they hope to meet in a few weeks.

Colin Cowherd put the Bills as #1. Not shocking.

I like watching things from the background, staring at those that think they have a chance......Like Creese from Cobrai Kai.

I'd like to formally apologize. It's Kreese.

And he's a BAD man. Season 3 is redonk.
