Bills activate John Brown, Josh Thomas & Christian Wade

Orchard Park, N.Y. — The Buffalo Bills activated wide receiver John Brown off the Reserve/Covid list on Friday, clearing the way for him to return if Sean McDermott chooses to play him on Sunday in season finale.

Brown, 30, hasn’t played since Week 10 after going on injured reserve with an ankle injury. His availability is a nice development for the Bills because slot receiver Cole Beasley is currently dealing with a knee injury. McDermott listed him as week-to-week and he hasn’t practiced this week.

The #Bills have activated WR John Brown from COVID-19 list, while also signing JJ Nelson to the practice squad. Brown had previously been activated from IR, so he’s good to go.
