Interesting indeed. Kelly also spent the 2019 season in Indianapolis. Convenient week to get to chat a bit with Chad.

This is an interesting one: the Bills are scheduled to tryout QB Chad Kelly, nephew of the legendary Jim Kelly. Perhaps a look at a possible reserve/future candidate.

But... why?

Pump him for offensive line signals, schemes, and tendencies?

Or Josh is moving on next year.  To the **Patriots.  With Dabol.  It's one or the other.

Yup.  McDermott seems to do a lot of things the way Bellicheat did/does.  Bellicheat very often brought in guys to pump them for info about the upcoming opponent.  Much like Heat Miser's doppelganger, McDermott looks to find any edge that's available & lets his players understand what will happen if they buy in & expects his players to buy into the system.  Very Bellicheat-y indeed.  Well, minus the cheating at every possible opportunity thing.

I’m not convinced McDermott can learn anything from Chad Kelly. And if he can then I’m worried about Sean McDermott.

Well, there is that.

Guess it's throwing a bone to his uncle.

Jim promised he'd stop blowing McDermott's cellphone up if the Bills gave Chad a tryout.  Brandon Beane said, "Amen and get the kid in here," as he too was tired of the constant video text messages of Chad's days at St Joe's. 🤷‍♀️

You're a seventh-round pick who got arrested in his second season.

There's no mystery to this. You just suck.  Kaepernick has a better case for grievances than you...and he just sucks, too.

Let's compare Chad Kelly to Tim Tebow.

1) Neither player is a good QB.

2) They both have strong emotional links with specific places.

3) They both were brought in for at least tryouts by the places with which they have the emotional links. (Jacksonville and Buffalo, respectively.)

4) Neither QB made the final roster.

The most obvious difference is that Tebow seems like a clean cut guy who stays out of trouble with the law.
