Bills find stadium naming-rights partner in Highmark healthcare company

The recently renamed health insurer Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield of Western New York has signed a 10-year contract to secure naming rights to Bills Stadium, according to sources familiar with the deal. 
 

Financial terms of Highmark’s deal are unknown, but sponsorship industry sources said the Bills were known to be seeking $6 million annually last year. The deal contemplates all future scenarios for the future of the facility, a source said, including renovations, a totally new replacement or no upgrades at all. Highmark receives an option to title sponsor a new stadium. Highmark did not use an agency.
