I got to thinking somewhere along the line that the Defense should be awarded the points they scored by taking them away from their opposing offense. 
Case in point, last week’s Bills game score would have been Bills 10, Crows -4. 
Depending on how the E P is scored, it could also be scored Bills 11, Crows -3. 
 

Sounds a bit like Australian Rules Football.
