CRUSH THE LITTLE PEOPLE:

Nasdaq CEO Friedman says the exchange will halt trading in a stock if they link unusual activity to social media chatter.

They really do make it easy to see what they’re afraid of.

Anytime a stock has unprecedented volume the exchange could potentially jump in to halt trading to allow for the company to make a statement.

This is nothing new.

I don't know about anyone else but; I've been enjoying myself. Love those quick bucks. Just be careful with it. The ride could prove not to be worth the price of the ticket.

It's hilarious. You have; literally, some of the worlds biggest manipulators crying foul over being.......manipulated.

I'd apply one of those coined "bless their hearts" here but I would prefer to use the tried and true; &#%$ 'em.

It started with them telling you that they knew better than you all the things of this world.

New taxes.

New Regulation.

"Everything they do is for the good of you."

New taxes.

New Regulation.

Then they made it clear what they were allowed to do, you were not.

New taxes.

New Regulation.

Then they found the symbols they didn't like.

New taxes.

New Regulation.

Then they discovered your religion was dangerous.

New taxes.

New Regulation.

Then they found a bunch of words that cause them harm.

New taxes.

New Regulation.

Then they realized that confining the human mind to operate under the guise of the two gender system was causing unneeded pain.

New taxes.

New Regulation.

Then they found your flag and national anthem to be destructive.

New taxes.

New Regulation.

Then they found some careers they feel are problematic.

New taxes.

New Regulation.

Now they use entertainment to infiltrate your mind.

New taxes.

New Regulation.

Then they decided to use industry to counteract individualism and difference of opinion.

New taxes.

New Regulation.

Now they react illegally to legal circumstances and actions telling you why they're dangerous.

New taxes.

New Regulation.

It would appear about half of the American population is too stupid to see beyond what they are allowed to see for fear of discovery and being labeled "wrong".

New taxes.

New Regulation.

Mysterious virus with a survival rate higher than almost all other viruses and we welcome their unchecked control out of fear.

New taxes.

New Regulation.

They're still telling you what you can and cannot do with your money. It's probably worthless anyway. But its their game. They make the rules.

New taxes.

New Regulation.

More on the sub-reddit shutting down temporarily... Apparently they had 800K new members yesterday that overwhelmed them and caused that temporary closure.

appears funds with short significant short positions are covering those positions in a lot of places. American Airlines just reported, beat, 28% short interest..up 45%.

Think there is gunna be some good short opportunities in about 20 days.

Because it adds volatility and when there is excess volatility, the exchange will jump in.

If by volatility you mean the wrong people losing their shirts, then yes.

No. Any major swing in a stock price above a certain threshold will trigger a halt and a press release by the company.

Well, yeah - they bid up a $5 stock to $350.

If this were a movie, the scheme would be called pump & dump.

Making the rules up as they go along.

Scaring people to sell to bail out Wall Street.

Attorneys will be foaming at the mouth to go after the trade apps blocking free market trading and I'll join the Class Action.

Not if you believe the reports that the shorts took a $14bn hit yesterday.

This is simply the return of the law of gravity in the stock market.  Once the shorts met their calls, there's no more artificial demand for the shares and the price will settle into its "fundamental" value.

certainly the shorts took it hard yesterday, but i have a feeling the quants bought bots etc to keep pushing the narrative hard....and they taking advantage of now.
