That forum was the closest to a social media tie that I had.

 

It had gotten so bad that I was considering making an anonymous twitter account and asking for some people’s handles so that I could keep up with info.

 

This site may have saved me from Twitter.  A debt which I probably will never be able to repay.

I'm too old to be this petty, but I genuinely hope PPP wakes up in the next week and realizes it's essentially down to Shoshin reading BillsTime, BullBuchanan, Tibs, TH3 and Buftex.

 

In the meantime, as someone who DOES use Twitter, I'd dig it if you'd share your Twitter handle if you have one so I can follow you. I don't post much there outside of some Bills stuff because a lot customers follow me and I don't need to be outed.

  I know it was not that long ago but I don't remember much about it.  Spent most of my time on the football side and when Ralph Wilson was still alive I got my fill debating the future of the team and Bills Stadium.

I have a few demands that I expect met or I will report everyone to the mods:

 

1- no new handles (or at least make it clear what your old handle was) I don’t want to have to re-learn who to like or dislike. Don’t have the time.

 

2- Lets try to keep our avatars somewhat consistent with our old personas (note mine as an example) - your avatar is how I make a context for your existence in my reality.

 

3- give me reputation points- I worked very hard for my 1+ post to rep point ratio over there and I don’t think my ego can handle losing that....

This is how I want to feel on election day.  Everywhere you look these days the country and its values are under siege from a deranged mob that can make you feel it's just hopeless, we're too gone.

 

But surprise, underneath it all are Americans ready to fight.  Like Trump says they're not coming after him, they're coming after us.

 

This week's events should completely solidify that---The Social Media ban on the NY Post, the suspension of that hack at C-Span, and the pathetic behavior of the Democrats on the Judiciary Committee.
