Players and agents can start talking to teams tomorrow — legal tampering window — actual FA kicks off Wednesday.

This is interesting. There will be a lot of one-year rentals as players hold out for big money in 2022 with the new TV contract. IF there are a lot of players looking to have a stand-out year and increase their worth for the next big contract, I am hopeful Buffalo can get some short-term bargains.

Does he want to move back home? Would he be worth the price?

I'm not sure he'd be worth the price, but in terms of entertainment value I'm all for it. It'd be fun to have Gronk back in Buffalo -- and doubly fun to watch him beat up on the **Patriots.

Yes, please (with a proper medical)

He opted out last year didn't he?

He was a 1st team all pro by various publications in '18 and '19

Year Tm Level Pos Voters
2018 1st Tm All-Conf. DE Pro Football Weekly
2018 2nd Tm   DE Associated Press
2018 1st Tm   DE Pro Football Writers
2018 1st Tm   DE Sporting News
2019 1st Tm All-Conf. DE Pro Football Weekly
2019 1st Tm   DE Pro Football Writers

His current contract calls for  $17mm this year and next and $14mm in '23. I'm not sure what the going rate for a top shelf edge is but that doesn't seem to me to be chicken feed.

He did but for surgery on his neck, not COVID:

Hunter's my #1 guy, with Lawson as my #2, who I'd love to see in Buffalo to help the pass rush. Either could end up being long term fixtures in this team's super bowl window. But both are (likely) out of the Bills' price range.

Former 3rd round pick.

We have to find a guy like this in the draft.
