Yeah, and while not in the same stratosphere, Lee Smith just got traded. I will not get my hopes up, seen this rumor mill play out before as and all it ends up being is wasted time.

Smart. We'll know either way soon enough -- but clearing out Lee does seem to hint that Ertz (or a TE) is on their minds.

Seriously if the dude kicked the drugs and put in work he'd be good. But he never ran great routes, he didn't have all that much awareness for his potential... He was a bust

I don't really either, but I'd take him back on a one year prove it deal. Even if he only suited up for 5 games and never saw a target, his speed/presence along with Diggs, Beaz, Gabriel, and Sanders would make their lives easier. 

 

That said, he's proven not to be a process guy, so I doubt it.

On a cheap prove it deal, he would be nice injury insurance.
