A few years back, a cop I know got a call from some Indian call center scammer on his cell phone. They were stupid enough to have their real number display on his phone when they called. He and another officer spent the next few days (when they were bored on patrol - it was a small town) calling them back constantly. It got to the point where the scammers actually blocked HIS number.
